People, if you are comparing this to the John Waters film YOU WILL be dissappointed. This is solely based on the BROADWAY musical. The original was not a MUSICAL. It was a movie ABOUT certain topics and about music. No one sang in the original. If you dont know what you are talking about PLEASE leave the reviewing to the ones who do. As for John Travolting...as some put it, He played Edna because a MAN has always played her part from the beginning. I think he did a great Job. who did you want to see in it as Edna? Tony Soprano? Fogetaboudit!!! If you like Musicals definately see it, it's wonderful. If you are looking for a comedy like the John Waters Film save your money cause you will be dissappointed.
